It looks like the speed and feed may be a bit off!
Anyway, I thought I'd share an interesting tool failure. I was surprised the tool didn't break and continued to run. It "calved" about 1/4 of the tool but still kept going. It was sparking like the 4th of July in the machine. I think it'll polish out with a few buffing pads....

WOW In the mid 80's I a ran CNC's and wrote some programs and did set ups. Did the computer fail or a tool change that was not zeroed, I have also saw the same thing when an offset was made and .200 was entered instead of .002, happened all the time with new guys. Some CNC drill bits and end mills are desinged to run with out coolant, I have done it many time with TIN coated solid carbide tooling. For the CNC guys, after I got out of machinist school I cut my teeth on a Warner Swasey WSC8 then I ran Okuma, Fadale, Gleason Phoenix, Daewoo, Mitsuiski, and some others I cant remember.
