Greetings. Never quite got over first time somebody issued me a M-14. I was sixteen yoa and it was a revelation! Recently aquired an excellent LRB (bbl/recvr). Was in Galveston, now in San Angelo, always in Texas (mostly).

Yessir...JROTC...but they really did issue me an M-1, then later when I made the drillteam an M-14.! (it was an academy) Had to keep it in my locker and take good care of it/them. Yes is good to sound off...also good to stand back, watch, and keep mouth shut.
