fake barrel marks

been away from m1a stuff,awhile,presently laidup with shoulder surgery,
so please excuse the writing.in my quest to get an m1a i saw a late
model137xxx with a trw barrel but it did not look correct-the letters
and numbers did not look like the original script of 40 years ago.. is
someone faking gi barrels now,thanks Z

Anythings possible ... :roll:

In yet another thread in this forum it was pointed out that a company has even been faking wrappers with markings so why not then parts as well hey?
