Not a fan of engraving on anything besides maybe some tasteful accents to a hunter or fine shotgun. It's a matter of taste.
Etching?
Has anyone ever thought about engraving for there M14 or M1a? I have yet to see anyone do it here but I thought about doing it. I saw a poster here made an aluminum hand guard here and my first thoughts where "hmm.... that would look awesome with some good engraving." I just wanted to know your guys thoughts and ideas of any engravings you might think would be nice or intresting to see.

The M14 IS a beautiful piece of equipment.....as is. Not so much with scribbling all over it....GI2Anyone who says the M14 isn't a beautiful piece of equipment probably wouldn't like a '57 Chevy two-door hardtop either-go figure.
Like a metal flake chameleon paint job....on a tank..... Gag me with a backhoe.
I always preferred the 'shoebox' over the 57. But, my favorite is the 56. I prefer the profile.I like the '55 a lot more.
