Anyone know where I can get an elevation knob with colored or white numbers, or send mine out to get it done. Pretty hard for me to read since my I don't shoot with bofocals on, and my eyes aren't as young as they used to be.

Have you tried just taking a laquer stick/wax crayon/pencil and rubbing the white in?. I think that's what most companies do anyways.

My numbers were done in white when I had my M1A reparkerized. I suppose most repark services will do it. A white grease pencil works ok, but a very fine brush followed by a solvent dampened rag to wipe the excess is one way that I have heard it is done.

Use nail polish and mark your important zeros for the clicks you need for where your rifle really shoots the ammo you use at that shooting distance.

I did the "SAFE" and "FIRE" on one of my ARs with plain model paint. Paint it on, wait for it to stiffen up a bit, and then gently wipe off the excess with a rag damp with thinner.
