Not sure if I’m ready to recover hahaFirst part of recovery is to admit you have an addiction.

Went that route on my last 3 rifles and wanted to see what accuracy I can get out of this without bedding it. Plus, this t44 repro stock is a bit on the thin side and I don't want to take all that much material off of it. I think I will keep it as is and treat it as a heavy barreled battle rifle.Looking good! Keep posting the build. Curious, why no bedding?
I've not yet shot one, but every single person I've spoken to who has said they are excellent. I hope to find out soon.Hi
What is the story on the Satern Barrel?
Never heard of it?
I don't have an addiction, either.Not sure if I’m ready to recover haha
Satern has a pretty good reputation in the Highpower circles with their AR15 barrels, so I would think their M14 one would be good to go.I've not yet shot one, but every single person I've spoken to who has said they are excellent. I hope to find out soon.
Separate. I have a 22 from them, going on this build, and they are going to cut one down to 18.5 for me.That's the Satern barrel you mentioned before about going 18.5", correct? That almost seems like something I'd be interested in. You had Satern do that correct?
Just one more quick question;Separate. I have a 22 from them, going on this build, and they are going to cut one down to 18.5 for me.
Cutting and crowning so that there are no flash hider threads or splines. Think of it as a NY compliant scout just in stainless with a heavy barrelJust one more quick question;
On the 18.5" cut down, are they just cutting and crowning, or cutting the splines and threads?
