Can someone explain to me if there were any issues with the first run of 7.62 receivers, i am more concerned with the dimensional aspects than the finish.

There was a Thread or 2 about them. Op rod track was too Narrow, and a Few other things were not Quite Right. You should do a Search in this Section

I will refrain from commenting other than saying there were a few in the early productions runs. If you have one, you better send it to someone that really knows there stuff.
