Looking for a dummy M-14 flash hider that includes the bayonet lug (I live in CA with its many dumb gun laws). It should look just like the real thing except that the flash hider cuts are all filled in.

Ted Brown used to have these (it is the one of the left): http://www.tedbrownrifles.com/images/400_FS1.jpg

Willing to pay up to $100 for it.

Found one - thanks to members here!

Hello,
Just get a SAI muzzle brake, if you want that look of an original FS. It is my understanding that a bayonet lug on a rifle is not an option allowed in CA.

Bayonet lugs used to be a federally restricted feature but are not part of California-specific legislation. I'm trying to get as close to that USGI look as I can get (the M14 was one my Dad's first service rifles) and the brake doesn't quite do it for me.

. I saw that ones that come without the bayonet lug but I'll call them in case they have ones with the lug.
