I'm glad he retired to a friendly face/smell in his case. I would adopt one in a heart beat. I'm just like that I guess soft spot for dogs.

My family used to say I loved Lilly Dog (yellow lab - RIP) more than I did them.

Lilly Dog always wagged her tail when I came home. Wife said if I treated her like I did Lilly Dog maybe she would wag her tail more. Go figure............
