Any body out there make there own bows? I want to make my own Laminated Longbow using hardwood veneers, some solid wood for the riser and clear "Bo-Tuf for the faces of the bow so the wood shows. I would like to try to make some kind of fixture to sand my own tapers but I will buy them for the first bow. I may make a traditional style "Self bow" later from a piece of Yew or Osage Orange down the road.
