I gave my son, the Marine, a M16 model for Christmas last year, and Santa brought me the SVD. They are pretty well done, and a nice touch for your desk.

I'd be tempted to get the M1, but may wait for a sale, as it's $59.99 right now with pre-order.

A bit steep for me.

Have had their AR and AK displayed right here at the bottom of my computer monitor for a couple of years now. I was happy to see the M1, but I have to agree- $60+ is just a bit too steep for my taste right now.

However... I wouldn't bat an eye about forking over $60+ for an M14...

I like the M1 model, but a M14 would be nice as well.

They do have sales around the holidays, and I may spring for one then.

I'd also like to see a G3, being a battle rifle fan and all.

I think thats pretty great for a display. $60 sounds expensive but remember theres a lot of initial set up costs for limited return on investment as actual number of pieces sold will probably be quite small .

I've seen miniatures of many guns from Japan that all function and have mini ammo. Didn't shoot of course but can be field stripped too. Cost a bit more though.
