My 5/8 × 24 SilencerCo single port Charlie brake finally arrived and I attached it to my Delta P Design muzzle adapter on the S16CQB variant that I have. I finally got a chance to use my Omega36M at the Range, but of course it wouldn't cycle reliably.. I read that for suppressing this platform, it's a good idea to use an adjustable gas plug... so:

Does this combo work together? Is it as simple as replacing the Delta P gas plug part with the Schuster? Does it fit OK?

The 1st round of every magazine I used would load and fire, but the following rounds would consistently suffer light strikes. I racked the bolt back after each light strike and released from full spring compression to chamber the following round in every instance.

The really weird thing is that I just had my local gunsmith take a look at her and watched him fire off 6 consecutive shots, twice, without any trouble. Same ammo (7.62 MM Ball) that I used.

I should also mention that I swapped the stock Archangel chassis for the Delta 14 Gen2 w/ an Ace Folding Stock. I also removed the stock CQB red dot clip guide dovetail insert (that was a damn chore) and installed the ARMS #18 scope mount. Additionally, I had recently just had the rifle returned to me from an RMA I submitted to Springfield for suspected incorrect headspacing suggested by previous light striking problems.

At this point, she's like that 11/10 ex-gf who ended up being a bipolar psychopath..

When you set it up with a Schuster you want the gun to barely cycle the action without a can. When you put the can on you are good to go. Otherwise you will beat the hell out of your op rod.
