got an email today from criterion barrels.enclosed was this video that will hopefully answer the accuracy of new chrome lined barrels

Informative video and only a few days ago a died in the wool bench rest shooter called me and told me he was shocked that his Compass Lake Eng. AR15 was giving him super accuracy. Reason he told me this I recall some years ago telling him that an AR15, good one that is, would give surprising accuracy all the way out to the 600yd. line. He scoffed at such a claim but now "is a believer." I will say I don't how the hammer forged barrel would have marks/lines perpendicular to the bore with that method of rifling? There is a lot I don't know about mfg. barrels, just curious??

Criterion chrome lined barrels are excellent but I would still go stainless for accuracy.

Just FYI but the FN SPR have chromed barrels and they shoot 3/4 or better.

after breaking in the stainless and giving it a good internal scrubbing,i'd melonite it
