To all of the vets here. Called my local V.A. hospital (Cleveland, Oh.) to see if I could make an appointment for a covid shot. Called at 3:30 this afternoon, got a call-back at 4:45, and I will get my first shot tomorrow at 11:45. Second shot is scheduled for Feb 18th. I don't know if all the V.A. centers are doing this, but this is my experience in Cleveland so far. YMMV

Go on ahead i hope it doesn't do to you what it just did to that baseball player hank.... I dont trust the government and won't be a guinea pig for some vaccine that is nothing more then a experiment. My self and a couple other vets told em to shove it.

This morning I received an automated call from the VA that I was eligible for the COVID shots. I called the number they provided and I scheduled the first available appointment. I got the shot at 11:15. I was 5 minutes early so it was 5 minutes before they were ready to give the shot and they sent me to a waiting room to wait 15 minutes before leaving after the shot. The shot was relatively painless and I am currently without pain or reactions to the shot. I was in and out of the hospital in 25 minutes.

I received my first shot two weeks ago. In and out in 30 minutes, not bad no side effects on this body.

The Pfizer and Madera vaccines are a new technology. While this may be great and what may be standard for vaccines in the future, it is still unknown what type of health problems we might see down the road from these new vaccines. Hopefully none.
The AstraZeneca vaccine on the other hand is a traditional vaccine and we do have a history with these types of vaccines. I for one would opt for a tradition vaccine over one that is new and not tested over time.

This is me. Not getting it unless I need it to travel or something. Looney Democrats in charge will probably make it a felony to be non-vaccinated.

Unlikely, most of the anti-vax crowd is already on the left - suburban moms getting medical advice from Facebook and Google...
