If your gonna shoot it beware a lot of vintage Lyman Alaskan's have poor optic's and are not clear. Been there done that with a few Lyman's. The Alaskan is not the proper scope for the M1D or C unless it is a B-series ser.## number. There are very few of those out there and they can bring $600-900+. A reg. Alaskan is not correct anyway unless it's a B-serie's ser. ##. The M82 Hi-lux CMP scope is the best scope if your gonna use it and legal for CMP match's. The repo -M84 have been crap and lot of real M84's are about he same. Always use a real Goverment issue M1D mount it works.
