It sounds more like a commercial bolt that didn't get marked other then the K. Spingfield was not known to have been making their own bolts in rifles serial numbered that low. Even so, I would check with them as it may be one of the bolts they recalled.

The surface texture on the front appears to be a casting ,does not look typical texture of a forged surface.Chinese bolts are fully machined ,at least the ones I've seen.
Hi,
I've got a Chinese bolt in my hand, and the complete bottom of the bolt has light machine marks.

The top is smooth, only marking is a very light stencil pencil, on the bottom ,that I can't even read with my Opti-Visors?

The Chinese bolt does NOT look like yours (Rico) in texture surface, or finish?

Looks like a good reason to contact SAI ,but they will want the whole Rifle to replace that Bolt , if you have it .
Two years ago I sent a rifle back to SAI for a recalled bolt. I was not the original owner as I purchased the rifle used. It was very easy as all I had to do was call SAI. SAI sent me a shipping "call tag" at no cost to me. The rifle was repaired and shipped back to me at no cost within two weeks. SAI not only replaced the bolt with a SAI forged bolt and bolt internals but also the safety and safety spring. Headspace was set at 1.631 and test fired all at no cost.

There ya go , but I wonder if all he has just the Bolt & no Rifle ?

Since its a Recall , they would have to fix it because of liability issues , if it was in one of their Rifles. Their Warranty is one reason why I purchased one of their SOCOM's.
