Just ordered a Flash Hider castle nut from Chestnut ridge. I asked if it was G.I and I was told it was. He didnt sound so confident about it. If it isnt,no big loss at $4.00. Has anyone else here purchased one from there and was it indeed G.I.?

Adam, I have used castle nuts from Chestnut Ridge and have had no problems with them. I am not experienced enough to tell if they are USGI or not - they seem to be of good quality and work well. If you can't steal it from the armory yourself, how can you tell if it is real GI? I have had excellent service both from the folks at Chestnut Ridge and their products.
