RIGHT AFTER I got it, before I even shot it, I had the Brake and Brookfield installed, I had a Burris 6-18X on it just to see what that thing was capable of. Ran a few down the bbl alternately cleaning not caring about targets, just "smoothing" it out. Maybe about 20 rounds that way.
NEXT DAY...
100yd range
Took a brand new box of Fed premium GM match 168gr, stuck 10 rounds in the mag, nestled in prone, had myself nested into a soft gripper kind of setup so the gun just laid there perfectly, took my time and started shooting.
reloaded with the next 10 and repeated the process. Bbl went from cold start to really warm by the 20th round was fired. I called 2 "fliers". The 2 I called openned the group to just under 3/4". Otherwise there were 18 rounds in a group you could over with an oblong shape dime. OH YEAH!!!!
I was at a shoot with a bunch of friends and they all just looked and said "HUH????" Not bad spread for a gas gun with the bbl heating up.
It has just a little under 500 rounds down the tube now and it is DEFINITELY a keeper, other then it IS a tad on the HEAVY SIDE
I WANT A SCOPE MATCH!!!!!!!
what is REALLY frightening though is I have an FN SPR that makes the M21T look like shooting a M1A with a burned out bbl made up of scrapped used parts. THAT SPR is nothing BUT WORK to shoot. Requires waaaaayyyyy too much concentration to try to get everything out of it you KNOW it is capable of. I probably have at LEAST 20- 1/4" groups out of it using handloaded 175gr MatchKings 8)
