The state Senate on Thursday approved sweeping new restrictions on using guns in California in response to the December mass shooting by two terrorists that left 14 dead in San Bernardino.

I'm telling you, SB109 & Prop 47 (Look 'em up if you dare) combined with open borders & the importation Jihadi aged males is purposeful.

They COULDN'T CARE LESS about your safety. Its all about the next excuse to make the next law that will subjugate the American people.

Kiss it goodby, America.

Why the heck would anyone who has a deep passion for firearms live there? Really I moved away from my birth state of NY for Uncle Sam in 2002 and have lived in several different states and foreign countries and it's not so bad. If the state I live in bans em I will move.

Follow the migration stats...............

The U.S. cities on this hottest-places-to-move list are hardly household names. In fact, unless you live nearby, you may never have heard of several.

On Thursday, the Census Bureau released its list of the most rapidly growing cities in America from 2014 to 2015 — and Texas cities dominated the list. Of the 11 fastest-growing cities in America with populations of at least 50,000, five were in the Lone Star State. (Incidentally, five of the eight cities that added the most people in sheer numbers were also in Texas: Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin.)

Hmmm , All the unconstitutional ridiculous jump thru hoops BS laws they had already passed proved
to not even be a speed bump to the terrorist a-holes in San Bernadino.
Not learning a dam thing from that now these bass turds want to add more?
What a success story that will be!
The country would be so much better off if the "big one" would go ahead and hit ,
We'd be rid of these asshats and we could start surfing in Arizona tommorrow.

I wish they'd stay the hell out of Texas, we have enough blue voters as it is , they'll ruin us for sure.

It is easy to say "Move" but most times people have families ,Jobs and a Life where you can't just pick up and go to somewhere Gun friendly. It would be a wonderful world if they could but it is never that easy anymore!
I did the Plisskin (Escaped from NY)in 2006 before it was really bad. I was lucky.
Our Buddies in CA can't just just pick up and blow outta town! They are too young or have loved ones they can't leave behind just yet.

My brain hurts after reading that! I think California needs another LA riot to show them that the police can't protect them when they need it the most. And if that doesn't work, a 10.0 earthquake to make Nevada ocean front property. My heart and prayers go out to those who live in California.

Already gave the wife a head's up that we're pulling collective if these get through Moonbeam's desk. Won't even sign a lease renewal until its settled. Also, cancelling my corporation payment to the state of $800 per year for the "priviledge" of doing business here.

While the Senate is supposed to be like the US Senate with the same number of Senators no matter what county, the Assembly is totally population based - in other words the coast dictates life for the rest of us.

There are 3 places I would never move to. NY, CA, and England.

3 places I would like to live in is Texas, Utah, and Sweden,

I feel sorry for the poor freedom lovers in CA. Before long you wont be able to defend yourself in CA. I'm afraid the way of CA will spread at an alarming rate soon. Luckily for me, Florida is decent but could go either way.

I plan to move to Texas one day especially if it secedes.

AS I posted before...grew up there 1955 to 1975.. as a teen it was great, cruise the creek (Walnut Creek) in the 58 vet I had (worked from 15 to 18yo to save the $$$...needed lots of work..$800.00 1973 money), Had several Hispanic friends who were also motor heads, although they had the 15 day waiting period just, enacted as I recall, there was a good supply of weapons to buy and ranges to shoot. By 1975 it was changing...my family was there till they all passed...my mom just went in March 2016, dad 2004, Both Grew up there in Alameda area. Sad to see it change to a Overpriced, Socialist filled, Over taxed hedonistic sewer. My Cousin bought a "Dell Web" home last year..tried to talk her out of it. Her taxes have gone up all ready...shes retired, be carful what you wish for. I will go back to Nevada to see my Brother...that as close as Ill get. The State is done for, your Constitutional Rights, COL, jam packed traffic...No its very sad indeed.

I beg to differ. It's not that they can't; they just don't want to. I am pretty sure most on this forum have relatives who hopped on a rickety boat to come to a better place. Some didn't even speak the language and managed to not only survive but thrive.

There is a lot of truth in Hobo's avatar.

It's not about "Gun friendly" it's about Freedom Friendly. If the worst thing about CA, NY, etc were the gun laws I'd be more understanding. With the tax rates, SMOG BS, water controls and importing and protecting of illegals they are telling you "You are not wanted here." Maybe it's about time people listened/read the writing on the wall, etc.
