I've read the bill (i am from Cali, aka commiefornia), it's a little misleading in it's topic. What it really does is repeal a section of the bill which makes 1 lawsuit per "assault weapon" found on a individual. Currently, say if you are some poor shmoe that for whatever reason didn't register their "assault weapons" by Jan 2000, you can get royally screwed by the California legislature, by being handed one offense for every "assault weapon" you own, you own a Colt HBAR Match rifle and then say a Armalite M15A4 Match, you will be handed down 2 seperate offenses with 2 seperate fines plus 2 seperate prison sentences.
This bill would repeal that law, I had gotten all excited too, until I read the bill :x sorry to tell everyone, this is not the end of the ban unfortunantly
