I recently bought a beater fiberglass stock soI don't have to take the nice wood stock into the field.

It came with a rubber pad instead of the metal service buttplate, which is OK I guess.

My problem is that it did not come with any screws, and I need to get some.

My problem is that I don't know if it symply takes the regular top and bottom screw that would fit a wood stock, or something different.

It does have an upper and lower hole for screws, can anyone assist on what screws I need, and a source? I see SARCO carries them,

Thank you,

Bill

Bottom screw for the wood and fiberglass stock are the same. The upper screw for the wood and fiberglass stock are different. The fiberglass stock uses a captive metal nut in an insert with a machine type screw. The wood stock uses a screw with wood thread. Look at your stock and you will see a slot where the captive nut inserts into. The fiberglass upper screw assembly set is available from various vendors.
