Aloha,

Boy, I am motivated... and Tatonka, you asked what goes in the Butt Stock storage area? Well, this is the best I could do... I hope you folks like it...

I feel pretty confident that many or most of the features of the M14 type rifle can be drawn and if it can be drawn, then an animation can be made... It takes a bit of work but the end result is fun and somewhat interesting...

I know this is the stuff that we all already know, but I had to start somewhere... maybe someone new to the M14 world will find it helpful. I hope you like it.

Wow Tom! That is AWESOME! You sure did a great job on that one! Very cool! Keep up the good work!

PS - Wish I had this animation and your other one when I first got my M1A. I didn't even know how to take the trigger group out when I got my rifle back then. LOL

Really great TomO. Being seems new rifles don't come with the accessories those that don't know what goes in the buttstock now know what & where.
Keep up the animations. Can you do a hula dancer?

Aloha M60Driver:

Yes, the design is a WhamoCamo LZ Nighthawk. And, it is actually an exact copy of what I have on my LZ Nighthawk that I got. WhamoCamo has so many designs that I feel like a kid in a candy store!

So far, I have tried to get as many different patterns and designs that I could... and not there yet...

Aloha and Thanks!

Drawing on the computer is something that I have always enjoyed. I can do "Hula" dancers but I don't know how popular that might be with the rest of the gang!

What I would like to do if time permits is;

Trigger Assembly
Match Conditioning an M14 type rifle
Rear and Front Sight Assembly
Bipod Installation
Mounting an ARMS mount
Flash Supressor Modification

An animation would probably be fun to do, but maybe a web page with these items in combination with animations and picture procedures... would be the most effective.

Hey Bill (Ricca), now you know why I really dug those cartoon training materials that you posted... If I could do caricatures of this kind of stuff, I would have it made! But I don't know how many would like seeing "Sponge Bob"... which is about the only character I could do...

Again, thanks for all of the support and inspiration everyone!

Butt Stock Storage

Thanks Tom :D

That is fantastic, you sir have way too much talent. PapaFoxtrot has a good idea, animating a service manual.

Yup, that would be the "Lubricant Case" in the animation.

Aloha,

Sorry the animation is a bit small, but I wanted to conform to the board specs on posting.

Fortunately, since these drawings were created as a "vector" graphic, I can resize as needed, but each frame still needs to be created.

A visual animated manual is a really good idea. Maybe if I can put enought pieces together, then we'll see... and I really think it would be much eashier to understand if you could see "how to" vs. reading and trying to mentally visualize it...

Thanks again!
