I have a GAP M40a5, love it! I think it's Army counter part would be a worthy addition. Have any of you purchased one through Remington ? There are a few on GB for about 3700. I think that is a screaming deal for a nice shooting rifle with history. The stocks, scopes, and deployment kits are bring back items and the action is new as the Army is using the original actions for their M24 replacement. So, worth it? Do any of you own one? Pictures?

Worth is only held in the eye of the beholder. I'd be leary of buying one from an unknown seller. It's only a matter of time before the counterfeiters come out.

I stopped investing in collector grade sniper systems a few years ago.

"Collector" value is only as good as there is a viable economy with expendable income.

I believe we are about to see this change.
