Will this guide fit the internal diameter of a STANDARD SA M1A flash suppresor/brake? IIRC the MATCH grade internal diameter is larger isn't it??

Bore Guide

Brownell's bore guide is designed to fit in match reamed flash suppressors and even then often comes up on the short side. I'd suggest a Dewey bore guide or making one from a 12 Gage high base buckshot shell. Just drill out the primer pocket for your cleaning rod. It will slip right over the FS. The buckshot shell seems to work best.

I'll try the 12 ga shotshell guide! Thanks for the info. I believe I've spoken to you at the Big Reno Show a time or two. I've finally got a rifle as well as a few GI parts, so I'll look you up at the show in April.
