How are these guys attaching a bipod to their walnut stock M1a but not clamping it on the barrel? That's what I'd like to do. I don't like the barrel mount. Thanks

Hey Tony that's the ticket thanks much! One question, do they require you grind off the rivets that hold on the stock sling?

The advantage of the Sadlak front rail is that you can use your original USGI sling swivel. You simply slide the tail of the swivel between the rail and the exterior of the stock and install the screws down through the railm, the swivel tail, the stock and into the internal nutplate.

the part number you should order depends on the stype of stock you have because the internal nutplace are made to most closely resemble the interior profile of the stock, wood, synthetic, USGI fiberglass, or supermatch/McMillan. We also offer a universal model that will fit with a little custom fitting on the stock so the nutplate sits completely flush to avoid creating a obstruction.

Nice!! The bolt spacing on that is already spaced correctly or did you have to drill it yourself?
