Go to FAQs section of Carrier Comp site. Specific list of 922r parts.

Stock, forend, follower and hammer (Geissele) all qualify. Mag tube does too, but doesn't make sense if you are making the barrel shorter.

Im going to buy a extra barrel that is 14", and register it as SBS. Also going to buy factory collapsible buttstock. Do I have to make it 922(r) if Im going to register it as SBS?
I don't know. Might as well ask ATF since you have to register it anyway.

My understanding is "Yes" you still have to comply with 922(r). I dont believe registering the weapon gets around import restrictions which is really was 922(r) is about. We (civilians) can't assemble non-sporting use weapons from imported parts that would be banned from direct import. Getting a Benelli 922(r) compliant isn't that hard, so I definitely would err on the safe side and just do it. There's some great step by step directions for changing parts on the Benelliusa.com forums.

I'm non expert opinion 922r is intended for those making guns like arsenal aks.

If your just throwing a stock on your sks I wouldn't worry about it.

However since your technically making the sbs and registering it I'd go ahead and get all the parts.
