They shut down for an hour at 11am (Fire Department was coming in to the other field?), That, and my brother's Miceluk brake concussing me forced an early pack up.
Got my ART II and M1C setup dialed in, although I did the ART II at 100 yds and just about ran out of elevation. Think I need to do that at 150.

Brookhaven/Ridge is crawling with Ticks....deer ticks and regular ones
Range pal Paul and I have been finding them after each visit there
Strongly suggest that you spray yourself liberally with repellents prior to going
Paul took one for testing...no Lyme but certainly not a favorite bug to find dug into your flesh anyway

Wow ticks huh? I get out to Brookhaven most often during the summer months and never experienced that. Thanks for the heads up, I'll spray some backwoods off on before I go next time. Nice to have such a local section for us Long Islanders here on this forum.

Roger that Warren...good seeing you as well. I should be back down from Gloucester by Friday...let me know if you are planning to hit the range this weekend!....and yeah...bug spray is a must-have in your range bag for anywhere outdoors in Sufflok County.
RO Phil said the ticks were bad because the winter never really happened this past year
