Bassett scope mount question

What factors should I consider in choosing between the standard Bassett scope mount and the Picatinny mount?

Then you probably have low Picatinny mounts. The original mounts are canted at 45˚. The 45˚ mount is my least favorite.

Get the Picatinny high or low and a Bradley adjustable cheek rest.
