:) Any gun show or shooting event that I can look forward to and hopefully be healthy enough to attend. Thanks!

Appears that I just missed that Raspberry Festival. Maybe next year...

My goofy buddy in Eagle never mentioned that one. Probably keeping all of those berries to himself!

Far removed from Idaho, but did see that quite a large number of Syrian refugees are being transplanted there in near future?? Perhaps they are all avid outdoorsmen and appreciate the beauty of the State and lifestyle??

Well, decorum demands that I refrain from mentioning the first few thoughts that came to mind upon reading your post. :) I will say: 1) I hope not and 2) I seriously doubt it. Tactically, the government is pre-positioning invading Syrian "troops" (voters) to skew an otherwise legitimate process / outcome both culturally and economically.

I am in Caldwell and know of a handful of fellow M1A/M14 shooters. There are more than one would think, if you could somehow get them all together all at once.
BTW, gun show in Nampa this weekend. I will be there early Sunday. (There will be an old bald guy that walks with a slight limp and wearing a hat with a red flower on it. That may or may not be me.)
I don't know what the Emmett club has in regards to military rifles. Nampa club already had their "Frozen Chozen" shoot for this winter, I think. Parma Rod and Gun club has had military rifle shoots in the past. I have shot in a few of them a handful of years ago. (Admittedly, I don't keep up much with that club, as they have raised the membership fee to way above "What?" beyond "How Much?!!", past "You're kidding!!?" almost up to "No, I meant for only ONE YEAR!!!". For the average guy that goes out and sights in his deer rifle, and plinks away a few times a year, they are WAY WAY too expensive. Nice range, no argument, but for the average guy.......drive down Pearl Road a mile or two and pull over. There are still places to get out to 1000 yards. Free. I do it all the time. (I actually have a "No Tell'em" ravine that another guy and I marked out to 700 yards. Shhhhh.)
If you need any info on the local gun shops, etc, PM me.
