My Old Eagle is getting tired, I'm thinking of getting the NM
version Rock River upper. I've used their std type uppers and
found them to be excellent along with their 2 stage triggers
which I like better than the Jewel. Appreciate some honest hands
on input. :-k

Vet66, I own a RRA LAR-15, she is a outstanding rifle. I use a Aimpoint Red dot sighting device, I can offhand shoot 2-3inch groups at 30 yrds.
I use Wolf ammo, and any other cheap stuff. It has not let me down once!

I use a RRA NM A2 for across the course matches. It's an excellent rifle right out of the box. Other HP shooters in my club use Colt, Bushy, and Compass Lake rifles and all of them have had one problem or another. Several of the Bushys had chamber/extraction problems. And a few of the Compass Lakes had flakey triggers. NONE of the RRA rifles have had a single problem. The only fault anyone could find is that the buttplate is not as substantial as that found on an M16A2. My scores jumped apprecaibly when I transitioned from my Quantico-built NM M1A to the RRA AR.
