I am interested in purchasing a Trijicon Reflex Sight in the distant future.

Anybody know of a reflex sight that has quality comparable to the Trijicon with a lower price? $400 is quite expensive for a reflex sight.

I want a reflex sight that also uses tritium because I don't like being dependant on batteries.

The Trijicon reflex sight has very limited utility. Unless you're in broad sunlight or in the dark with light adapted eyes there's no dot!

Dusk or dawn? No dot.

Shooting from a darkened room into the light? No dot.

Starting to see a pattern? 8)

The Aimpoint CompM2, on the other hand has none of these liabilities.

Yeah it doesn't work well without batteries; but the Trijicon doesn't work well hardly ever.

Definitely look at the Eotech. This board talked me out of the Reflex and then I was down to Eotech vs Aimpoint. Got the NV capable with AA's on a socom and it is very good.
Thanks.

I too vote Eotech
Wider FOV than Aimpoint and less$$
Aimpoint is a good choice as well but I prefer Eotech
I'm not aware of any other tritium reflex sights

I'd go with either the Eotech or Aimpoint if I could rationalize the money.

I wonder if, for a budget piece, a Tasco Pro-Point or the like would suffice? Or a standard Holosight? Why not?
