However, doesn't seem to be a lot of the physical available. Silver.com doesn't have any 2020 Ag Eagles until mid-May (if that stuff even gets delivered to them). Next best option is running almost $36.
Check out the buy price on those coins. Yesterday it was $17.39 for a random year Silver Eagle, $2 over the spot price. That's a good indicator of scarcity right there as dealers will usually buy at spot or below if there is sufficient supply.
BTW, do not be surprised or disappointed if the price declines in either Ag or Au the next time the stock market takes a dump-next week possibly-as those who are leveraged will sell into this to raise capital for margin calls, and the manipulators will use that to double down on the decline via the COMEX and LBMA.
Never cancel your insurance during a hurricane or fire, and the same applies to PM's, as they are insurance against financial and monetary debacles. This is just beginning, and will likely continue for the next few years or more, depending upon how intense the stupid gets in Washington, and that place is the universal source of stupidity, and a black hole into which common sense and reason disappear.
IOW "numquam plena hebes ire eo", "never go full retard".
Go buy clean junk silver .900 coin silver or .925 sterling spoons and forks if you want physical to stack. Or get those thick Mr. T or bicycle sterling chains.
I should start looking around the house for the next silver dump. Not that I should have much kicking around. That $30 an ounce pretty much should've cleaned me out. That one paid for a $500 car repair and a used Uberti lazer engraved Teddy Roosevelt 1873 with buggered fire blued screws.
I bought in at under $14, but as noted it is a long term SHTF sort of thing. I guess it depends on how much you are talking too. $100 ? Who cares. 100.000, you might want to wait some. Also, the Chinese are counterfeiting scrap US silver coins now, particualry silver dollars. Just read about that last week. Buyer beware.
