I just picked this up off of a Gunbroker auction from a vendor that specializes in police trade ins and confiscations.
It is a factory Ithaca M37 Riot, 20" barrel, parkerized, no trigger disconnect, old school shotgun fun! The last M37 I had was a DSPS riot gun about 30 years ago, I think that I traded it on a deal for my first SPAS 12, I was always on the look out for a M37 riot, they have great balance and handle very well.

The serial number puts it real close to the block that the Navy bought in the late 60's. From a tag that was on it when I picked it up at my FFL, I believe that this M37 came from the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, Highway Patrol. So far the vendor has put up four of these, two are current auctions.
