I'm watching an early Springfield M1A on an auction, but am a little leery of one this early. Should I be leery?

I just bought an early M1a, not quite that early but I'm happier with my early one than my newly made one. I believe an M1a that low of a serial is a Devine, TX Springfield. If so they are quite sought after.

Of course it's a Devine receiver, but is it a Devine built rifle? I haven't looked at the add.

That rifle is "JUST DEVINE" and will most likely sell for some big $$$.

Good question. Are there any markings on the barrel?

Barrel is supposed to be marked "Winchester 7790190 Jan-61-9R" and "Rt1-Box 210 Devine, Texas"
