I picked up 3 20rd boxes of 7.62x51 ammo at a show today. The headstamp on the rounds is HD over 7.62. I looked at the varoius links and did not find any reference to this. The ammo came in cardboard boxes very similar to FN boxes. The boxes had a 20rds sticker applied over the original manufacturers sticker so I can't read a maker on the box.
Thanks

Good find SGT63, how much do you pay for the Singapore military surplus ammunition?

The HD stand for the year, as in 84. Or 1984, some of the other years of Singapore military surplus ammunition that I have tracked down.

Singapore, '77, [ GG ], Berdan, zero crimp with light green primer sealant. 7.62 XX are dates
Singapore, '86, [ HF ], Berdan, zero crimp with light green primer sealant.

The other military surplus ammunition that I have tested can be found here ...

Some of the best military surplus ammunition out there.DI5

Actually got it real cheap. 3, 20rd boxes only cost me $12. Is it Berdan or Boxer?

20 cents a round is great, but it's old and hard to find anymore.DI5
