I am trying to raise money to research alternative energy sources. For too long people have been at the mercy of big oil and electricity companies. I would like to find a renewable resource that can be beneficial for everyone. I understand the point of view of large companies. If they cant make money from it why try to make something for the betterment of man kind. This is where I loose common ground with large companies. I can understand making a living but greed is not good for us as a collective. So I am asking for your support to try and fund a research and development program. I will be working with electricity, solar other forms or power trying to accomplish a reasonable and affordable way to make alternative energy.

That being said I am not asking that you fund my research and development. I am however asking for discussion on this. What are peoples thoughts on this matter. I'm not talking about waiting all day with a solar cell to try and power one light bulb. I mean actual viable alternative energy. Some way to alternatively power a generator or motor or car, heat a house. It will obviously take some time and a lot of errors book keeping for science. But why do I feel no one is thinking outside of the box. I am looking at exotic and simple forms.

I find most of my "alternative energy" ideas in ancient history books and by studying the lifestyle of people in remote areas of the globe.....

"Manpower" is a lost art. The next lost art is "Horse Powered"...... The biggest waste of energy these days is between people's ears... The biggest drain on energy is those who are consuming more than they are producing.

My hat is off to those living "off the grid"..... Eventually every one will join them.

Find out how to make your own solar energy array. Other than that wind and water offer propulsion. Depends if you'r talking creation of electricity that is. Otherwise you need to burn fuels.

For survival you need to have a place situated that you can get light or a running water source. I think wind is a tougher one to harness.

HardingM14 is that from Rick and Morty? If it is I love that cartoon. I am not sure if greed is ingrained in the human race. Controling people is like trying to control a wild animal. There is not much difference. I feel that's a waste of time. I dont want to make people follow me I want people to join. I feel that greed is a spoon fed life style known as consumerism. By spoon fed I mean programed by commercials and ads. Not a shot at you, I mean this respectfully. Please dont take it that way. But I am not one without. I try to keep things like that in check by only taking what I need and leaving the rest. There is a balance to things I believe not to sound too much like a hippie. But there are interesting things out there being done. The Joe Cell, Nikola Tesla radiant energy, electromagnetic energy. Many other things out there. The sterling engine is another. I want to figure out how to use one or more of these devices together to make a working power source. I agree solar is a good one but limited, as is water and wind. Depends where you live, you have to use your strengths. The bloom box is more efficient. I have not started yet but I will be soon. I am open to any information experiences or ideas.

What are you trying to power?? Your radio, car, home, or community?
You can power a fan with a hamster in a wheel or a sawmill with a water wheel. What is the scale of your needs.
I believe in the lower 48 solar power is the most viable. You can in turn use solar electricity & H2O to make Hydrogen gas for heat, fuel or transportation or just use it for all your electrical needs.

Both actually. Doesn't matter how old it is, the idea is absolutely horrible, with almost universal horrible results. That being said I'm not completely against voluntary collectivism, so long as it stays completely voluntary and does not harm those who wish to not partake. Unfortunately, not very many examples of this type to go around, very few.

I would like to find something that could power a house via generator or be built to power a car. You make the same device different sizes. But something practicle. I dont like complex stuff. It needs to be somewhat simple. I thought by saying it has to be something viable to power a house or a car. Not a solar cell and waiting all day to power a light. If that makes any sense. I have been doing alot of research. I will keep everyone updated on how its going. Im a curious person so I want to tinker. I dont want your money. I did start a go fund me account. But I'm not aski g for your help just discussion. I have nothing to prove to anyone here. Why do I have to be greedy? The b.s. banking system backed by "our word" Bankers cause a housing market crash that has taken food off of the tables of millions along with jobs and money. Greed has cause the u.s. steel industry to go under. Some unions have priced them selfs out of jobs. Be reasonable not greedy. This is way off track. I am looking for ideas thats all. If you cant bring any then dont respond. Thats all Im asking for. Is ideas on energy. Obtainable by common man. Lol NOT NUCLEAR ENERGY.

Because it is not physically possible. Suggest you either read or re-read the Laws of Thermodynamics to discover why this is so.

Your de-emphasis of nuclear energy is misplaced. There is a source of nuke power that is available, non fissionable, and has been proven by our own labs at Oak Ridge. It is a Liquid Salt (Fluoride) Thorium Reactor. I'll let you look it up on your own, but suffice it to say it is viable, and a by product of it is that the heat generated could be harnessed to utilize the Fischer-Tropsch process to make synthetic motor fuels, actually making us energy independent. We have the coal to do this, for both the Thorium and the Carbon. Why haven't we? Because you can't make weapons from an LFTR.

The bottom line is that there is no such thing as a free lunch-or "free" energy. There is always a cost. Whether that cost is financial, environmental or otherwise, it is present.

BTW, you can lose the "collective good" phrase and other socialist jargon, as nothing good comes from it; if it did, then the former Soviet Union, current China, and other other countries that have tried systems based upon that ideology would be paradise on earth if such a thing is possible. There is no reason to develop anything unless there is an upside for the inventor. Call it a profit motive or whatever, but without a positive incentive, be that fame or fortune, there is no reason to perform.

My take....

Most of this "BS" is very old, recycled, "blame everybody but me" rhetoric that is a total waste of your time and energy ,(hows that for being on topic !).
Most of your "facts" about anything and everything are totally unfounded BS. It's very obvious which political system you favor.

Fact : Show me ANY country that has succeeded at operating a Socialist or Communist form of government...any country...anywhere . Even the hippy compounds of the 60's had to have outside aid to survive...check it out! By outside aid I mean some functioning part of the capitalistic system's treasure or product. I gainsay that you yourself voice all this displeasure with the world while at the same time using any and all of the benefits of other peoples money to survive.
Hell...I volunteered for the Corps in an effort to help change the world...and then the people cussed and spit on us. The people weren't the problem (they said). it was us...so I just worked hard and returned to the world...and I have been fairly successful and now provide jobs for a lot of families and folks. If that's "greed" in your opinion then so be it, but where ever you are getting your pay check you should go tell him he's greedy...

Obama has funded several energy program with poor results except for Project Bark. Physicists were collected from MIT DOD and The Swiss collider Engineers have found bombarding just 1 Gm of Caninepooium and Einsteinium will produce power to light up a large city for weeks. Unfortunately Big Oil, ISIS, Republicans, all conspired to killed the research. Like I said Take a class on Physics and expand your mind on what is possible and what is not.

I am NOT being sarcastic. Pig poop has a tremendous amount of gasses in it waiting to be extracted.

As I understand, a little goes a very long way.

Then once extracted, what is left over can be used as fertilizer.
