Ka-Bar knives are Cool. :D :D :D

I bought mine, a USMC model, at a gun show. IIRC, I paid about $45.00 for it.

Here are a few options.

Just did a "quick and dirty" Net search by using "ka-bar knives". These are the first 4 that were listed.

Just make sure that you get a "real" Ka-Bar and not some knockoff. Ka-Bars are probably not the favorite combat/survival knife of many of the serious collectors, but I carried one in the 'Nam and I just wanted one.

They sharpen up nicely, but they don't hold an edge like some of the other knives some of the guys favor.

Hope this helps a little.

Hmmm. . . I think I need to get another one. The one I have is a Korean War commemerative issue, and I wouldn't want to scratch up the etching butchering a hog.

Hey There, TEA

Knives are worse than battle rifles at my house. They're smaller, usually less expensive and you can't have a KB or AD with em - Just a really nasty cut if ya get too cocky when you're playing around.

Always room for another Ka-Bar...

I just wish I could afford a Randall.

I'm with you guys. I have a mini collection going. Even scraped up some cash for a Randall a year or so ago and picked it up off of ebay. Payed too much for it but then again I didn't have to wait 4 yrs for it. Add to that my Ka-Bar, M-9 bayonet, Gerber BMF, SOG Trident, and a few other personal favorites I have a few. But the Ka-Bar has been my camping/everything knife for many moons now.

Ontario Knife Co.

    So you want a K-BAR, all new K-Bars you find today are copys, there are several way you can check to see if you are buying a true K-Bar or a knockoff, i will look for the web sit that explanes the difference between them .and post it here , but the closest thing i have found is from The Ontario Knife Co, for about 36.00 dollars. Go to same check page 2 you will find it there. Todays K-Bar knives for us out side the military are alot like the m1a close but not the real thing.Hope this helps ,
