I love the way they make a big deep boom when fired with Russian surplus ammo....I love the fireball from a M44.....Used to be good cheap fun but not anymore..I see a Spam can of 7.62x54 is now in the $200.00 range..Glad I stocked up in the 90s.

What's the price of a run of the mill Mosin nowadays? Seems like the last couple I saw were high $200 to low $300s ... thought that was pretty steep.

Generally $180 to $250 locally in SE Pennsylvania
