Im thinking of an buying an AK .I dont know what is a good one and whats is not. Are there parts kit still available to buy for spares?

Parts kits are still around but I have not seen any good G kits lately. There are probably a few.

The best AKs available are Saiga conversions. Saigas are made by the same factory that makes the Russian AKs. The conversion is fairly easy and worth the effort.

Best advice I can offer is to check out theakforum.net, there are constant parts kits available from people that have been doing business in that arena since before it was "fashionable" to own an AK. There are people on there that build rifles from de-milled rifles, reweld kits, just about anything you can possibly think of in terms of an AK. I've received a lot of very good information and help and made some good deals along the way.
