I started buying parts in the beginning of this year for this rifle and I finally got enough done to go and shoot it. I still need to buy a stock and a bi-pod.
The parts lists;

1. Aero complete upper / 18" SS barrel / Rifle length gas tube /15" keymod rail
2. Aero Lower & LPK
3. Aero carbine buffer / tube / spring
4. Aero BCG / charging handle
5. Magpul grip
6. Geissele SSA
7. Aadmount
8. Vortex Razor HD 5-20

I didn't have any function problems and I think it has the potential to shoot pretty decent groups. I was just sighting it in and checking if it works DI5

The M5 is a 308 sized receiver. The M4 is their .223 version

I haven't noticed that but the buffer spring is really stiff. I takes a bit of effort to pull back the charging handle.

The trigger is great and we'll worth it. I really like the 2 stage trigger on semi-auto's.

I use the Tubbs flat wire CS springs in my AR 308s

My buffer kit is a dpms and didn't seem too stiff(it's a carbine too, btw) In my case I think it's just the port door detent, etc. just needs some break in. I might look into one of the new fangled charging handle hooks for more grip. This is low on the 'to do' list.

I should of put .308 in there I just forgot about it. The vertical string was sighting in and I moved to a different dot after I got it close to that top one.

Yes they are. I did learn that the dpms medium gas system length doesn't work with medium handguards though(a2/delta ring style). So you need to do some checking when you buy a barrel depending on the type of build.

They do make some nice stuff and for a great price. I am over my quota for guns and stuff this year. But next year I might put together a M4 from themDI5
