We're SAK op rods ever used in new production rifles...ie:new production at SA for instance?

I'm doing a SA build (have a barreled receiver so far..and need bolt, trigger housing, and op rod) and have a virtual NOS SAK rod I could use if correct.

Thanks

I believe they were replacement parts. SA M14s were some of the earliest built, so no SAK op-rods would've been used.

Nope, but a all "S" build sounds cool. SA barrel, bolt, trigger housing. SAK barrel, op-rod. can't go wrong... You could even throw in a DPM'S' trigger housing.

SAK barrels have been noted to be good shooters. I just put a SAK oprod on my last build, I had the choice of a new SAI or a used SAK oprod... no contest the SAK slipped in place without an adjustment the SAI... not so much.

I have a SA Trigger group, Housing, Hammer, Safety all SA. PM if interested.

I also have a SA oprod rebuilt and like new I need it for a build but I might be persuaded to swap if with yours.. :)
