Got the call from McMillan today, the stock is ready, payment was made, and will ship in the next few days.

Next step call Schneider barrels to get a barrel ordered. I’m gonna go with a 1:10 twist vs 1:12, so I can shoot heavier stuff when I feel like it. I still go back and forth with running a 24in barrel like original or switching to the a6 length. My last a6 was shooting 2680 average with ab39 2640 with aa11.

In the early 90’s I built M24’s for National Guard teams that needed them. There are 3 left handers out there some where that are still quite competitive from my understanding.

My brother was finally able to pick up the stock, it looks great. I might slow roll this a bit. I haven’t quite made up my mind I want to complete this or my m14 build first.
