The majority of 300blk I have is converted 223/5.56 also. I do have some Hornady ammo that has crimped primers. Not sure why that is necessary. I guess Hornady things someone is going to use them in full auto weapons.

What is involved to convert .556 brass to 300bo? I’d like to give that a try.

I’d look up the brass you’ll be trying. Some brass thickness can be a problem. I’m sure the poster knows and does it accurately. My buddy and I tried it and dug up some good info on what brass is best for sizing/necking for 300aac

Please elaborate more on what the problem is with some brass. Is it that this particular machine can’t cut some brass?

FLIGHT762 said it. I’m not sure how to tell accept others folks experience with reloading. I went with my buddy telling me what not to use.

Ok great. Can you tell me what brass not to use? Is LC , and SSA brass to try if those are ok for conversion.

I use LC brass to convert to blackout.
