I just bought a NF ATACR 4-16x42F1

I plan to mount it on the pictured rifle which currently has a 3-9 Sworovsky mounted.
The rifle is a 300 win mag which was made with a Sako receiver, a 1:10 Douglas barrel and a McMillan stock.

My question is what kind of rings/mount would you use for the Sako action. The scope is 34 mm in diameter- I will try to attach a photo of the new NF scope as it would not attach with the rifle picture

Attached is a picture of the new NF scope. It is the only first focal plane scope I ever used and damn it is beautiful.
It has the mil-r recticle

Nightforce is my preferred rings, but Badger Ordnance and TPS make excellent quality rings, as well.

+1 on NF rings. Especially with a NF scope.
I'll throw in a recommendation for Seekins rings too. Both made in the great state of Idaho!

20 MOA Picatinny rail

Get a 20 MOA Picatinny rail, then get Nightforce's Unimount and mount it to your Picatinny rail.

TSR Steel rings from TPS Products, period! Will use no others now, IMHO.

I went with Leupold Sako ring mounts from Brownells on my Sako 85 Finlight 300 Win Mag. Great product.

I went with the NF rings and they are excellent. I also have a set of Seekins and they are top of the line as well.

I have a couple of Hensoldts in Spuhr mounts. Spuhr mounts are functional artwork.
