Awesome. I have a few Savages in .223 and they are amazing shooters. This would be my favorite. Model 12 FVSS . Whatta Hobby!

My wife has a savage bolt action in .223 rem. She enjoyed cleaning up targets at a couple hundred yards with it, showed her dad something that day. Good times.

Hope you enjoy yours just as much.
Savage rifles have always been good shooting rifles for me. they are not the best looking but they perform well!

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and if they shoot, they are beautiful. Have to be careful these days with what you think is beautiful, might just be something you didn't expect. Just saying.

One of the best factory bolt action rifles Ive owned was a Savage 10 tactical/308. At the time this rifle would group slightly better than my Remington PSS rifles. One thing I like about Savage rifles is they dont charge an arm & leg yet theyre still quality rifles imo. I ended up selling the gun to guy who needed it to complete a police "sniper school." What was funny is after they kid finished the school he sold the Savage to buy a Remington PSS. Some instructor told him Remington rifles were better. Anyway after he got his new Remington PSS it wouldnt shoot quite as tight as the Savage did. I tried to tell him.
