Have a barreled action w/headspaced bolt. Want to build an accurate rifles to scope. Would prefer all or mostly USGI parts. Any recommendations are appreciated. Not sure which parts to buy. I have a stock SA scout that will tuned up later.

My thoughts on which parts to buy are simple, go with what you can afford. It took me a good four years and lots of money to find the right parts for many of my rifles, because I had to have USGI parts.

Now comes Bula making their own M14 parts, receiver, trigger groups, barrels etc. What's really cool is they are quality parts and affordable.

If I were looking to build a shooter and with cool factor Bula would be my pick. Thats not to say you can't find quality USGI parts, it just takes longer and costs more.

In the end its what you need your rifle to be.

PS I forgot to mention that Bula is made right here in the good old U.S. of A. which may or may not be important to you.

Shouldn't be too difficult to round up USGI parts to finish your build. Sights, oprod, trigger group, gas system, flash hider, stock and you're done.

PX here would be a good place to start. My preference is GI parts, especially sights, stock and trigger housing. Others parts I could use Bula. Only commercial part preference is the barrel which you already have. GI barrels are hard to find in mint condition.

Been chasing PX, always seem to be an hour late. American made is all I will buy. Did wonder about forged commercial op rod. Already have three stocks, USGI walnut, fiberglass and just picked up a stripped NM stock.

Put something in the want to buy section with a fair price you will pay and someone will usually contact you.
